1939 - A pleasant weekend with a bit of time off (not full days, oh, no! But that's okay) was had by all concerned. Yesterday we visited the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles, part of the National Air and Space Museum. There's a lot more gear, especially space gear, there than there was last time I was there, back in ... um, wayback. Oh, yeah, the first month of operations out there in December of 2003, with my brother and his daughter. That was a fun trip then, and this one was fun, too. Pictures when I get a round tuit.
Today was a full work day, followed by a short stop at a wake for the husband of a friend, he occasionally counted on me for a little extra-curricular IT work. A very pleasant bloke, too. Sad to hear of his passing, but a nice celebration of his life with friends and family this afternoon and evening. But I had to hare off early, to feed the mutts, since Marcia had an appointment. That's done too, and everyone's home. Now I've got to walk molly again. Ciao!

2126 - Had to roast last night, and plenty of other unlikely yet deeply boring things, too. Tonight ... ah, tonight I made more salsa. Going to be a yummy day at work tomorrow as a result. Oh, hey, I have a backup to finish, and some photos to pull off the camera. Ciao!

1529 - Hi! Home early, I mowed the front lawn before the temps got too high. I've got to start burning off some "vacation" hours or I'll lose them at the end of the year. So a few hours here, a few hours there. We've *got* to figure out something fun to do this weekend. Now for a shower... Ciao!
