2303 - I just finished doing the dishes. Papers are coming due, that plus other schoolwork eating most of each evening. Tonight, I also made a double batch of super macaroni and cheese (and ham and red onion and garlic and garlic and more cheese, too). That's for tomorrow's pot luck at work. Tired. G'night.

2220 - The macaroni and cheese was a hit and the whole pot luck thing was a success! Leftovers for work and home from that one. The downside of the day is that the morning cup of coffee stayed on the shelf in the garage where I set it while getting the crock pot settled. I didn't notice, and remained befuddled about my befuddled day until I got home, and noticed that the empty cup wasn't in the car. It was, however, on the shelf. Hmmm. That explains a lot. Schoolwork tonight after watching last night's Mythbusters via DVR. Now, g'night.

2119 - I fear it's going to be about this sporadic between now and mid-December. Lots of writing for school, about 4 hours of work at work last night doing off-hours tasks, shopping and writing today, plus a little bit of follow-up on last-night's work. Whacked. I'm taking from Wednesday on, off, mostly to stay caught up with the schoolwork. Marcia's off to catch up on her sewing. Going nowhere for the holidays this year, more's the pity. Too much to do and not enough time. But I always have time for this sad responsibility ...

• Sgt. Edward H. Bolen, 25, of Chittenango, New York, died Nov. 10 in Logar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire and an improvised explosive device.
• Spc. Shannon Chihuahua, 25, of Thomasville, Georgia, died Nov. 12 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades.
• Spc. David C. Lutes, 28, of Frostburg, Maryland, died Nov. 11 in Landstuhl, Germany, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device in Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, on Nov. 8.
• Staff Sgt. Juan L. Rivadeneira, 27, of Davie, Florida, died Nov. 13 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, when a suicide bomber detonated a vest bomb and struck his unit.
• Cpl. Jacob R. Carver, 20, of Freeman, Missouri, died Nov. 13 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, when a suicide bomber detonated a vest bomb and struck his unit.
• Spc. Jacob C. Carroll, 20, of Clemmons, North Carolina, died Nov. 13 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, when a suicide bomber detonated a vest bomb and struck his unit.
• Staff Sgt. Kevin M. Pape, 30, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died Nov. 16 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire.
• Staff Sgt. Javier O. Ortiz Rivera, 26, of Rochester, New York, died Nov. 16 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
• Spc. Shane H. Ahmed, 31, of Chesterfield, Michigan, died Nov. 14 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire.
• Spc. Nathan E. Lillard, 26, of Knoxville, Tennessee, died Nov. 14 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire.
• Spc. Jesse A. Snow, 25, of Fairborn, Ohio, died Nov. 14 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire.
• Pfc. Christian M. Warriner, 19, of Mills River, North Carolina, died Nov. 14 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire.
• Staff Sgt. David P. Senft, 27, of Grass Valley, California, died Nov. 15 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in a non-combat related incident.
• Pfc. Kyle M. Holder, 18, of Conroe, Texas, died Nov. 17 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in a non-combat incident.
• Spc. Justin E. Culbreth, 26, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died Nov. 17 at Panjway district, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
